Chattanooga Red Wolves secure home win with late goal

Jimmie Villalobos scored on a cross from Jonathan Ricketts in additional time as the Chattanooga Red Wolves defeated North Texas SC 1-0 Wednesday night in front of 1,567 at CHI Memorial Stadium in East Ridge.

The win gives the first-place Red Wolves (9-1-10, 37 points) a three-point lead over Union Omaha (9-2-7) in the USL League One standings, and they extended their undefeated streak to 15 matches.

Chattanooga's next match is on the road at 7 p.m. Saturday against the Greenville Triumph SC (7-7-6); the South Carolina club is in third place with 27 points.
