The Chattanooga Red Wolves ended a three-game losing streak Saturday, defeating North Carolina FC 2-1 at CHI Memorial Stadium in East Ridge.
The Red Wolves improved to 6-9-2 overall this year and 6-8-2 against USL League One competition. Juan Galindrez scored his ninth goal of the season against NCFC (5-7-3), while Rafael Mentzingen had his fifth for the Red Wolves, who have 20 points in the standings at the schedule's midpoint.
Chattanooga returns to competition by hosting the Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC (4-6-5) at 7:30 p.m. next Saturday.
