Lady Red Wolves draw, CFC women lose in road matches

The Chattanooga Lady Red Wolves played to a 2-all draw Friday night against Peachtree City MOBA in a USL W League match in Georgia.

The Lady Red Wolves (0-1-2) received goals from Mackenzie Smith and Kennedy Heavrin, who followed up a shot by Summer Hernandez. Peachtree City was coming off a 1-1 draw in its season opener.

Chattanooga's next match is also on the road against a Georgia club, with the Lady Red Wolves facing Southern Soccer Academy at 7:30 p.m. on June 4 at Marathon Soccer Park in Austell.

CFC women lose

The Chattanooga Football Club women's team lost 3-0 Friday at Alabama FC to drop to 0-2 in Women's Premier Soccer League action.

Chattanooga FC's next match is its home opener, against North Alabama Soccer Club at 7:30 p.m. on June 4 at Finley Stadium.
