Led by a Taylor Gray hat trick, the Chattanooga Football Club picked up a 4-2 victory over Bay Cities FC on Saturday night at Finley Stadium.

Markus Nagelstad, coming off a four-goal performance a week earlier, added a goal and an assist as Chattanooga FC improved to 6-2-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the National Independent Soccer Association East Division, with the 16 points good for first place.

CFC's next match is also at home, against AC Syracuse at 7:30 p.m. on June 11.

 

Red Wolves fall at home

The Chattanooga Red Wolves lost 1-0 to the Greenville Triumph in front of 2,576 at CHI Memorial Stadium in East Ridge, with the visitors netting a goal in the 75th minute.

The Red Wolves, now 3-4-2 overall and 3-3-2 against USL League One competition, travel to face the Richmond Kickers at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
