UGA's Fox adds assistants

ATHENS, Ga. - New Georgia basketball coach Mark Fox on Wednesday announced the additions of Philip Pearson and Kwanza Johnson to his staff.

Pearson, 38, has spent 16 of the past 20 years representing Alabama as a player or a coach. He served as the Crimson Tide's interim head coach for the final 13 games of this past season and went 6-7, which included an upset win at Tennessee to close the regular season.

Johnson, 37, has worked the past three seasons assisting Fox at Nevada.
