MOBILE, Ala. -- The Mobile BayBears beat the Chattanooga Lookouts 8-2 in Southern League baseball Saturday night after scoring six runs on four hits in the seventh inning.

Mobile sent nine batters to the plate in the seventh. With two outs and the score tied 2-2, Lookouts relief pitcher Tim Corcoran intentionally walked Sean Coughlin to load the bases, hit Kyle Hankerd to give the BayBears the lead and then allowed a grand slam to left field by Ricardo Sosa.

Chattanooga (6-7) got its runs in the fifth, with Justin Sellers singling to center to bring in Gabriel Gutierrez and scoring on Adam Godwin's single to center.

Game two of the four-game series is tonight at 7:05 EDT. Alberto Bastardo (0-1, 7.88 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts; Cody Evans (3-8, 4.80) is scheduled for the BayBears.
