Actor Leslie Jordan, who is documenting his time in quarantine with comical video posts, will collaborate with the Chattanooga Public Library for a reading of a second bedtime story this Friday, April 24, at 6 p.m.
Since closing to the public on March 14, The Chattanooga Public Library is implementing new ways to stay connected to area patrons and to provide engaging and educational content, a news release states. Jordan will read "The Cool Bean" by Jory John on the library's Facebook page.
The Chattanooga native entertained kids of all ages April 9 with his reading of Jimmy Kimmel's "The Serious Goose." The actor joins several other notable celebrities who are taking to social media to read bedtime stories to children.
Jordan was raised in the Chattanooga area, graduating from Brainerd High School before going on to pursue an acting career in Hollywood. Some of his well-known acting roles include "Hearts Afire," "Will & Grace" and "American Horror Story."
