The Hunter Museum of American Art has compiled resources and works of art from black artists and creatives as protests against police brutality sweep across the country, including in Chattanooga.

"Working toward a more inclusive, just society - a community that is truly united - is part of the Hunter's mission," museum officials said in an emailed statement. "There is a lot more work for us to do, but until we reopen, we will continue to engage audiences with content created by artists and community leaders of color and show support through the important work of listening and learning."
