Replacement for Jacoby seen

Volkswagen AG Chief Executive Officer Martin Winterkorn said the automaker is looking to quickly replace U.S. chief Stefan Jacoby, who is expected to move on to head Volvo.

Also, Mr. Winterkorn told the Sueddeutsche Zeitung daily newspaper for its Monday editions that it's not enough to produce cars in North America, but "we also need to get parts and components from there."

Mr. Jacoby took charge of VW's U.S. operations in 2007. VW is completing a new factory in Chattanooga that is to start making cars early next year.
