Wink Groover

Wink Groover, 74, of Longview, Texas, formerly of Etowah and Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010, with graveside services in Waco.For 56 years his passion involved all aspects of Tennessee Walking Horses, including raising, training, judging and showing.Survivors are: wife, Nancy McNamara Groover; son, Winky (Shelia) Groover, Shelbyville; daughter, Cindy (Tim) Walker, Chattanooga; step-son, John Carter (Misty) Hicks, Waco; grandsons, Dan Groover and Michael Walker.Memorial services are 11 a.m. CDT Tuesday, April 27, at Fair Haven Baptist Church, Shelbyville.The church will accept flowers Tuesday morning or contributions may be made to F.A.S.T., P.O.
