Dorothy Hayes Zelinsky, 93, of Chattanooga, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, in a local health care facility.Mrs. Zelinsky was a member and former pianist at Sumach Cumberland Presbyterian Church for over 35 years. She was a former Girl Scout Leader and retired from the Chattanooga Bicentennial Library. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Charles W. and Bertha Bryant Hayes and was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Zelinsky; son, Don Zelinsky; brother, Harold Hayes; and a great-granddaughter, Katie Cole.Survivors include four daughters, Carolyn (Jerry) Luffman, Chatsworth, Ga., Jan (Jay) Green, Judy (Tim) Redmond, both of Crandall, Ga., Susan (Terry) Stevens, Chattanooga; five grandchildren, Shannon Cole, Susan Green, Kellie (Ken) Ogles, David (Lisa) Redmond and Margaret Redmond; five great-grandchildren.Services will beld at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sumach Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Dr. Glenn Brister officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery with David Redmond, John Boyd, Terry Stevens, George Bryant, Ken Ogles, Jay Green, John Tompte and Jerry Luffman serving as pallbearers.Mrs. Zelinsky will lie in state at the church from noon until 1 p.m. at the church.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rev.
