Allen KellettLaFAYETTE Allen Kellett 65, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.He devoted his life to his family and church family. He was a devoted member of Chickamauga church of Christ, where he was a respected elder. He was a born in LaFayette, Ga. and had been a lifelong resident. He was a truck driver for many years and for the past 24 years he drove for Estes Freight Lines where he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Ruby Mae Crawford; and his mother-in-law, Deana Jones. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Joy Elaine Jones Kellett, of LaFayette, Ga.; their children, Wade and Deborah Kellett, of Tupelo, Miss., and Amanda and Joe Hamala, of Rock Spring, Ga.; his sister, Sonja "Sunny" Hegwood, of LaFayette, Ga.; grandchildren: Lake Kellett, Campbell Kellett and Sarah Mae Hamala; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Chickamauga church of Christ 58 p.m. today and 11 a.m.noon Saturday prior to the service.Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at the Chickmauga church of Christ with minister Shane Robinson officiating.Burial will follow at LaFayette Cemetery, LaFayette, Ga.Online register book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Homes, Chickamauga Chapel.
