Thelma Calambro

Thelma Zulueta Calambro, 82, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012.Thelma was born on Oct. 7, 1930 in the Philippines. She was full of life and lived life to its fullest.Thelma enjoyed her independence. She was well loved by her family and friends.Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy A. Calambro; her parents, Jose C. Zulueta and Irene Gelvezon.She is survived by her three daughters, Maria (James) Cooper, of Chattanooga, Lynne (Gene) Johnson, of Chattanooga, Ruth (Steve) Hanna, of Springville, Calif.; three grandsons, Chris and Wes Johnson and Erik Hanna; one granddaughter, Jaimee Cooper.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, with a Vigil service to start at 4 p.m. at the Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel, with Father Paul Valleroy officiating.The Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at St. Jude Catholic Church.Interment will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.Please share your thoughts and memories at www.ChattanoogaNorthChapel.com.Arrangements are by the Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory & Florist, North Chapel, Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
