Luther Neighbors

Luther "Luke" Neighbors, 84, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. Luther was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jessie Irene Neighbors; father, Joe Neighbors; mother, Rose Neighbors Manning and brothers, J.T., George and Jack Neighbors. Survivors include his sister, Stella Donavan; longtime special friends, Bobby and Jimmie Ruth Wilson, Rhonda and Eric Leffew, Hannah and Alexis, Randy and Stephanie Wilson and River, Teresa Poe and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held today at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Calvin Nunley officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is today after 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a great appreciation and thank you to special caregivers, Teresa Poe and Danny Neighbors and also to Hearth Hospice and his two very special nurses, Laura and Shona.
