Linda Thacker

Linda Thacker, 70, passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013. Mrs. Thacker was preceded in death by two children, Vanessa Graham, Sheddy Thacker, Jr.; parents, Lewis and Gladys McGowan; brother, Billy Frank McGowan; sisters, Reita Sitz, Mildred Coppinger. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Sheddy C. Thacker; daughter, Ada (Dana) Hall, of Jasper; sister, Williana Shannon, of Cleveland; brothers, Sam McGowan, of Rossville, Jimmy McGowan, of Spring City; three grandchildren, Dana Hall, Jr, Daniel Hall, Nathan Graham; two great-grandchildren, Alexander Hall, Tessa Hall; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Alec Long and Rev. Gordon Jones officiating. Interment at Red Hill Cemetery.
