Barbara Kindred

Barbara Kindred, 63, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at her home.She worked for Coats American in Rossville, for 23 years. She enjoyed camping, fishing and the Alabama Crimson Tide. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and she was of the Baptist faith.She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ella Mae Eckert; and sister, Linda Hale.Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Eddie Kindred; daughter, Shannon (Michael Armet) Morrison; son, Mark Kindred; sisters, Neva (Doug) Elmore and Edna (Jerry) McCary; two grandchildren, Dylan and Destiny Morrison; and several nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Pastor David Wilson officiating.Burial will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with family acting as pallbearers.The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.Arrangements by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory located the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
