PIKEVILLE Wenton O. Holland, 73, died on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at his home.He was of the Church of God faith and attended the Mount Crest Church of God of Prophecy. Wenton worked for La-Z-Boy for 20+ years. He was an avid outdoorsman. Wenton loved to hunt, fish, and enjoyed tolling around in his garden.He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Holland; parents, Aaron and Oma Holland; brothers, Grady and Milton Holland; sister, Ila VanWinkle; and a niece, Crystal Watson. He is survived by his daughter, Maronda Shea Swafford; brother, Parker (Alice) Holland; sister, Wilma Johnson; nieces, Harley Angel, Sharon Holliday, Gina Tremble, Misty Angel, Deanna Gifford, Crystal Angel, Janet and Janice Hale; nephews, Gary Cordell, Rocky Ross, Timmy Newport, Keith Ross, Wade Newport, Scottie Ross, Shane Angel, Alex Angel, Mikey Neely, Ben Angel, Jamey Johnson, Jim Holland and Trey Melton; special friends, Jeremy Mooneyham, Barbara Ann Mooneyham, and Betsy Mooneyham.A Celebration of Wenton's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, with Brother Ken Norris and Ricky Mooneyham officiating.The family will receive friends all day today.Burial will be in Pikeville City Cemetery.Please share your thoughts online with the family at www.pikevillefuneralhome.com.Pikeville Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
