SHELBYVILLE Glenn Brice Turner, 64, passed suddenly Sunday evening, Jan. 23, 2013, at his residence.A native of Chicago, Ill., lived most of his life in Chattanooga. He is the son of Nora Turner of Soddy-Daisy and the late Ellis Ray Turner.Mr. Turner was preceded in death by sisters, Debra Lou Turner and Penny Turner.He was a retired painter and member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.In addition to his mother survivors include his wife of 40 years, Patsy Turner; children, Michael Glenn (Teresa) Turner, of Columbia, Brian Glenn (Carrissa) Turner, of Monroe, Ga., Crystal (John) Turner Baggett, of Hixson, and Patricia (Kevin) Glover, of Tulsa, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Ray Turner, of Soddy-Daisy; and a sister, Barbara Meyers, of Tiftonia.Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Cornerstone Baptist with Pastor Stephen Reeves officiating.Doak-Howell Funeral Home is serving the family, 1-931-684-5011.www.doakhowellfuneralhome.com.
