Alfonzo Pollard

Alfonzo Pollard passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014. He was born Feb. 26, 1952 to James Pollard and Helen Moore Pollard in Chattanooga. He was a 1971 graduate of Howard High School. He attended Nashville Trade School. He owned his own business in the field of Electrical Appliance Repair Service. He accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. Alfonzo was preceded in death by his son, Allan Demond Pollard; by his parents, James Pollard Sr. and Helen Moore Pollard; brothers, James Pollard Jr. and Michael Pollard. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his caregiver and precious daughter, Monica Pollard, daughter, Brianna Pollard, of Boynton Beach, Fla.; one granddaughter, Raven Garrett; two brothers, Larry Pollard and Edward Pollard; one sister, Sandra Pollard; one uncle, John L. (Evelyn) Moore; nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S. Moore Road.
