Anna Ruth Kilgore

Anna Ruth Kilgore, 80, praised, shouted, sang and worshipped her way into the presence of the Almighty from her earthly home on Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Her life exemplified servanthood. She loved people and spent her lifetime showing love through acts of kindness. She was a woman of prayer and great faith. Only eternity will reveal the souls there because of her obedience to prayer and witnessing. In her final hours upon this earth, she was praying to her God for the souls of those she loved so dearly. Her life was rich in the joy and fullness of her Father. She will forever be remembered by those who heard her powerful singing through the years. She is still singing today, but her audience is divine. Her children adored her and she left them her prayerful blessings. She is now reunited with her beloved. Mrs. Kilgore was a native of Murphy, N.C. and a member of Laynes Chapel Church for 35 years and her present membership is with Spring Creek Church of God in East Ridge.
