Rev. Steve Ellinger

Rev. Steve W. Ellinger, 56, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014. Steve was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area. Rev. Ellinger ministered for over 30 years at the Kingdom of God in Chickamauga. Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Elizabeth Ellinger; and parents, Myron and Carly Ray Ellinger. He is survived by his step-daughter, Lesia Elizabeth Guinn; brothers, Wayne (Geneva) Ellinger, Ben West and Mark West; sisters, Angie West and Sherry Link; grandchildren, Steven Brown and Victoria Guinn; and great-grandchild, Kaylin Brown. Visitation will be at 4-8 p.m. today, Feb. 13, 2014, and service will be held at Old Lookout Cemetery at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014. Rev. Mike Lowery and Rev. Chris Millican will be presiding. Services are being handled by W.L. Wilson Funeral Home in Fort Oglethorpe.
