Wanda Osburn

Wanda June Gamblin Osburn, 77, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014. She was born in Walker County to the late Archie and Viola Victoria Childress Gamblin. She had lived in several states but always considered Walker County her home. She was a homemaker and was of the Church of God faith. She was a very good cook and enjoyed crocheting, writing and traveling. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Mathison. She is survived by her children, Reita Goins, of Chickamauga, Ga., Dirk Osburn, of Exeter, N.H., Doyle Osburn, of Chicago, Ill., Donald Osburn, of Orlando, Fla., Vicki Dibernardo, of Newmarket, N.H.; sisters, Judy Clark, of Fort Oglethorpe, Ginger Walz, of Chickamauga, Ga.; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-8 p.m. today and Friday morning until the service. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
