Cynthia Collier

Cynthia Denise "Nesie" Collier, 52, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at her residence. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Thomas Bean; and brothers, John McCauley and Eugene McCauley. Survivors include her husband, Bernard Collier; sons, Themetrius McCauley and Cletus Dunham; daughters, LaKisha (Alphonso) Wilkerson, Athina (Alan) Eady, Carmen McClure, Cassandra Dunham, all of Chattanooga, and Charity Dunham, of Fairbank, Alaska; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; father, Willie McCauley, of Atlanta; mother, Cora McCauley, of Chattanooga; brothers, John Boyd and Terry McCauley; sisters, Gwendolyn Fears and Janice (Alonzo) Byrd, all of Chattanooga; uncles, Howard Fluellen, of Chattanooga and Hubert McGruder, of Atlanta; aunt, Mary Pearl Crowley of LaGrange, Ga.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends. Funeral: today at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Ternae Jordan Sr. as the eulogist. Burial: Greenwood Cemetery.
