Clemmie Potts

LaFAYETTE Clemmie Louise Potts, 94, passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Potts; a sister, Mary Hixon; and three brothers, Joe Roberson, Clarence Roberson and James Roberson. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in West Armuchee Community. She is survived by a niece, Emily Benson; and three nephews, Lamar and Dennis Hixon and Joe Roberson Jr.; two great-nieces, Angela McDaniel and Lisa Stewart. Several great- nieces and great-nephews also survive. Funeral from Shiloh Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Chuck Romain and Rev. Terry Burns officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Life Choice Hospice staff, (Cindy Jones, Sharon Cockrell, Dr. Suzanne Storey, and Rev. Rickey Studdard). Also serving as Honoary Pallbearers will be the staff of Medi-Thrift Pharmacy, Neal and Carolyn Florence, Joanie Jackson, Doris Fagan and Our Country Home Staff, Shiloh Baptist Church Caregivers Class, Peggy Shelley and Patricia Simmons. Interment will be in Shiloh-McWilliams Cemetery. Visitation will be at Shiloh Baptist Church from noon-2 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Flowers are welcome but the family welcomes contributions to the Roof Fund at Shiloh Baptist Church. Arrangements are by the Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home of LaFayette.
