Evelyn Maxine Turner, 71, passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014. Evelyn was a resident of Ringgold for over 50 years. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and played piano. Evelyn also served as a volunteer at Christ Chapel. She was preceded in death by parents, Kelly and Dessie Crisp; and brother, Paul Crisp. Survivors are husband of 52 years, Troy Turner; son, Brian (Gayla) Turner, Ringgold; daughter, Karen (Adam) Lyman, Acworth, Ga.; brother, John R. (Mary) Crisp, Hoover, Ala.; grandchildren, Abby Huskey, Tyler and Mackenzie Lyman; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev.
