LaFAYETTE Donnie "Frog" Scott, 65, died Sunday, March 2, 2014. Preceded in death by wife, Mary "Glenda" Scott; brother, Bo Scott; sister, Billie Faye Brown; and parents, Oscar and Grace Scott. Survived by daughter, Renea and husband, John Dearing; son, Tad and wife Tamara Scott, all of LaFayette; sister and brother-in-law, Gayla and Donnie Smith; brother, Mack Scott, all of Mentone, Ala.; grandchildren, Hannah Dearing, Olivia Dearing, Chandler Scott and Austin Dearing; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Lowell Cantrell and the Rev. Bud Martenn officiating. Interment: Fairview South Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today. Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
