James Bailey Jr.

LaFAYETTE James S. Bailey Jr., 65, died Thursday, March 21, 2014. Preceded in death by his parents, James S. Bailey Sr. and Mary R. Rackley Bailey; grandparents, Nettie and Clifford Rackley and Pearl Bailey. Survived by sisters, Joyce Rogers and husband, Bryant, of LaFayette, Darlene Alexander and husband, Dale, of Chickamauga, and Mary Dent, of Rossville; brothers, J.R. "Buddy" Bailey and wife, Cynthia, of Ringgold, F.H. Bailey, and wife Linda, and Kenneth Bailey and wife, Anita, all of LaFayette; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. John Paul Parker officiating. Pallbearers are Rodney Parker, Erik Hullender, Brandon Rogers, Casey Alexander, Andrew Bailey and Buddy D. Bailey. Interment in LaFayette Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. today. The arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
