Diane Chambers

Jacquelyn Diane Chambers, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 15, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Flintstone and was a member of East Ridge Church of God. Diane was preceded in death by her father, Carl Brown; mother, Irene Sloan; daughter, Sherry Lankford; and loving husband, Jerry W. Chambers. She is survived by her children, Robin (John Burris) Chambers, of Rossville, Joseph (April) Chambers, of Flintstone, Ga.; grandchildren, Courtney, Bruce, Jeramiah, Micah, Nathaniel, Jered, Joseph Lee, Savannah, Gabrielle, Caleb; and 8 great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Woodhaven Assisted Living Center in Trenton, Ga. for their exceptional care and kindness. Services will be at noon on Monday, Oct. 19, 2015, in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.
