Lena Smith

FORT OGLETHORPE — Lena Reagan Smith, 83, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017. She was born in Cherokee, N.C. to the late J.D. and Emma Reagan. She spent her childhood in Cherokee and was a graduate of Sylva High School – class of 1952. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and animals. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jackson Smith and brother, George Reagan. She is survived by her sons, Mike (Diedra) Smith, of Ringgold, Ga., Barry (Jennifer) Smith, of Lookout Valley, Tenn.; brother, Larry (Ann) Reagan, of Ringgold, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.
