Shirley Pettit

Shirley A. Pettit, 80 of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017. She retired from Memorial Hospital after 25 years of service, spending the last 15 years as a RN. Shirley was of the Baptist faith. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Survivors include her husband, Fred Pettit, Jr.; son, Fred (Angela) Pettit, III; daughters, Kathy (Don) Cagle and Karen Williams; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Watson. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bill Harvey officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
