Robert Nealon

ROSSVILLE — Robert Sewell Nealon Jr., 73, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, in a local hospital. Mr. Nealon was born in Rockwood, Tenn., on March 8, 1944, to the late Robert Sewell Sr. and Pearl Rosetta Nealon and has spent the greater part of his life in the Rossville area. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Rockwood, Tenn., and was also a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1962 until 1964 where he was a tank gunner. He retired as a supervisor from Crystal Springs in Chickamauga with over 30 years of service. Mr. Nealon enjoyed boating, fishing, going to yard sales, camping and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Lynn Nealon. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Carolyn Charlene Bowls Nealon; sons, Robert Sewell Nealon III, Erick Nealon and Tommy Nealon; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
