Frances Reese

MENLO — Frances Juanita Davis Reese, 86, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilkes Reese Sr.; parents, Marshall Davis and Susan Hood Davis; great-grandson, Colin Shropshire. She is survived by her daughter, Gwen Chambers, of LaFayette; son, Wilks Reese, of Menlo; grandchildren, Pixie Honeycutt, Tamberlyn Reese, Stephanie Mitchell, Melissa Chambers, and Taralytia Chambers; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Donnie (Devon) Mathis. Funeral service is 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Duane Stamper officiating. Interment in New Beginnings Bible Church Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
