Lerlena Purter

Lerlena Purter, 95, passed away on Sept. 7, 2017. She was a graduate of Tuskegee University with a degree in nursing. She retired from T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital as a LPN in the pediatric unit. She was a devout Jehovah’s Witness and a member of the Hamilton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Chattanooga, Tenn. She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Clarence E. Purter, II (Patricia); granddaughter, Alicia Purter; grandson, Antonio Purter; cousin, Johnny Moss; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, 1 p.m. in the Chapel with Bro. Gene Hester presiding. Interment: Forest Hills Cemetery.
