James Holcomb

FLAT ROCK — James Bryon Holcomb, 83, died Sunday, April 15 at his residence.  Funeral services are Tuesday at 2 p.m. ct at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Johnny Reel and Bro. Frankie Carroll officiating.  Burial will follow in Kirk Memory Gardens with Masonic Rites and Military Honors.  Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. until service time on Tuesday. Survivors include wife, Vera Willean Baugh Holcomb; daughters, Belinda Dolberry(Jerry), Lisa Lancaster(Randy); grandchildren, Heather Case(Josh), Olivia Fenn(Masceo), Victoria McAlpin(Samuel), Melissa Howell; great-grandchildren, Jade, Jeremiah, Mason, Kira, Daymon and Konnor; brother, J T Holcomb(Nellie Ruth), several nieces and nephews. Mr. Holcomb was a Korean War Veteran serving in the US Army and a member of Ider Ashlar Lodge.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Silas and Delancey Lacks Holcomb; son, James Clinton Holcomb; sister, Mary Eunice Bowen; brothers, Edward, J.
