Lea Cagle

Lea Marcelle Cagle, lifelong resident of Chattanooga, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, at a local hospital after a long bout of illness. She loved dogs, friends, and family. She was precededed in death by her father, Edward Wayne Shumacker and mother Mattie Jean Shumacker. Surving immediate family includes her daughter Lindsay Nicole Cagle, sister Brenda Lee Mahan, brother Edward Wayne Shumacker Jr., niece Jennifer Lee Sanders, and 4 grand children, Zachary, Piper, Paxton, and Zoe Wilson, nieces and nephews. One of her last wishes was that everyone give a poor critter a home in rememberance of her. Memorials Services will be held on saturday Aug. 25, at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church located at 1005 Gadd Road, Hixson Tenn. 37343 Companion Funeral and Cremation Service and the Cody family are honored to assist the Cagle Family with these arrangements.
