Christopher Colburn

Christopher Thomas Colburn, 41, of Hixson, Tenn., formerly from Dunlap, Tenn., passed away Nov. 28, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Nance Colburn; his grandmother, Sally Nance; his grandfather, Earl Nance; and his uncle, Dennis Nance. He is survived by his children, Brayden Thomas Colburn, Abigail Elizabeth Colburn and Owen Christopher Johnston, and their mother, Julie Garrison. He is also survived by his great-uncle and aunt, Cliff and Ethel Smith, great-aunt Sammye Finley, and several cousins and friends. Chris graduated from Sequatchie County High School and attended some classes at UTC. He had been employed in the culinary industry at several local restaurants, and was a member of Dallas Bay Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, Dunlap, TN on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at 1 p.m. CST (2 p.m. EST). There will be no visitation; burial will be at Mansfield Cemetery in Dunlap.
