CHICKAMAUGA — Clinton Louis Gard, 32, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018. He was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga and a member of Elizabeth Lee United Methodist Church. Clinton was employed by Puckett EMS as a Paramedic and also worked with the Walker County Sherriff’s Office; in addition, he was a former member of the Walker County Fire Department. He was the current President of the Northwest Georgia Chapter of the Roughnecks and was a member of the Quitman Masonic Lodge, Ringgold. Clinton was a loving family member and friend to all who knew him, living his life serving others. He is survived by Paul and Sheila (Kell) Gard, Sara Gard, and Kelli Gard; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at Oakwood Baptist Church, with Min. Roger Haston and Min. Zach Fitzpatrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Chickamauga City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. The body will lie-in-state from 1 p.m. until the funeral time at Oakwood Baptist Church on Friday.
