Joseph Hamilton

CLEVELAND — Joseph (Joe) Paul Hamilton Jr., 65, passed away Dec. 2, 2018, in Cleveland, Tenn. A lifelong Cleveland resident, he helped found the Museum Center at 5ive Points where he was executive director from 1994 to 2006. Previously, he was director of Cleveland Associated Industries and assistant director of Bradley/Cleveland Community Services. He was a graduate of Bradley Central High School and earned a B.S. from the University of Tennessee and a Master’s Degree from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Paul and Jean Hamilton. He is survived by his siblings, Jan Hamilton Powell, Jeffrey Hamilton and Jennifer Hamilton Blankenship. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home in Cleveland with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Museum Center at 5ive Points, museumcenter.org.
