Anna Hood
Anna Elizabeth Hood, passed away Dec. 6, 2018. She was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., to the late Geneva Gilbert. She retired from Erlanger Hospital after 30 years as a ward clerk. She was a great mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to everyone. Although she is no longer here with us, we know she lived a good life and will be greatly missed.
She was a member of the Brainerd First Church of God. She leaves to celebrate her life a daughter, Jacqueline Neal, of Spartanburg, S.C.; granddaughters, Kasey L. Neal and Dawn M. Neal, of Chattanooga; great-grandchildren, Jeree Weaver, Cherelle Beard, Sharnelle Robinson, Shawnice Beard, Ronald Robinson III, Michael J. Robinson, all of Chattanooga; great-great-grandchildren, Jada and Christian Jackson, Demarion Bowman, Jared Mitchell, Callie Hubbard, Lennox Robinson; three sisters, Marcella Allgood, of Jamaica, New York, Joyce Long and Sandra Clay; brothers, Larry (Ann) Gilbert, all of Chattanooga, Samuel (Glenda) Gilbert, of Nashville, Tenn.; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, in the Chapel. Funeral Service will begin at 1 p.m. same day with Pastor Kevin Russell Jr. officiating. Interment: Forest Hills Cemetery.
