LaFAYETTE — Myra Jean LeGrande, 64, passed away Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of LaFayette where she loved to sing in the church choir. Myra played the piano and organ for the Second Baptist Church for 48 years and worked for the LaFayette Middle School for 32 years. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Terry A. LeGrande, of LaFayette; sons, Andy (Paige) LeGrande, of Ringgold and Dusty (Blakely) LeGrande, of LaFayette; grandchildren, Drew, Haylie, and Hattie Grace; brothers, Ralph (Becky) Maples Jr., of Ringgold, Kenneth (Doris) Maples, and David (Pam) Maples, of LaFayette; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018, at First Baptist Church of LaFayette with Pastors Bill Faircloth and Mike Wallin officiating. Interment will follow in the LaFayette City Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Ralph “Mac” Maples, Ken Maples Jr., Jason Maples, Phil Maples, Grant Blaschke, and Grayson Blaschke. Honorary pallbearers will be the First Baptist Church Choir. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Choir Fund.
