Roberta Williford

Roberta Scott Williford, 96, of Chattanooga, passed away at Life Care Center of East Ridge, Feb. 11, 2018. She was a native of Carbon Hill, Ala., the daughter of the late James Carter Scott and Lillian Cummings Scott, and the widow of the late Robert Augustus Williford. Mrs. Williford graduated from Carbon Hill High School and attended Berry College, Mount Berry, Ga. She was retired from the Social Security Administration, Columbus, Ga. and Main Post Finance, Fort Benning, Ga. Roberta was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Chattanooga, TN. and a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. in the Chattanooga National Cemetery, where Roberta will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Gus.
