Ronald Robert Coleman, 67, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Tenn. passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at his home surrounded by loved ones. Ronald was born Feb. 18, 1951, to the late Daniel David Coleman Sr. and Anna Faye Coleman. Ronald Graduated from Brainerd High school, from there he went on to graduate from East Tennessee State University where he was a part of the Lambda Chi Fraternity. He was a faithful member and on staff at Christ United Methodist Church where he and his wife attended. Ronald was a part of a talented band in his younger years named “Bobby Boyd and the Playboys”. Some of his favorite hobbies were playing golf, Traveling, and experiencing new and different restaurants. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Daniel David Coleman Sr and Anna Faye Brown Coleman. He is survived by his wife of more than 10 years Carla Coleman; son, Geoffery Coleman; step-daughter, Christa Tippit; brother, Dan Coleman Jr (Janice); three grandchildren, along with several nieces nephews and extended family. There will be a celebration of life memorial service Saturday July 7, 2018, at Christ United Methodist Church in Chattanooga, Tenn. at 1 p.m. with a visitation prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nathan Malone and David Hall will be officiating the service.
