Robert Benjamin

Robert Grover "Bobby" Benjamin, 60, of Ooltewah, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 5, 2018, with family at his side. All who knew him said he was always such an outgoing loving person. Always full of spunk. Robert worked at Spalon Three in Ooltewah as a Salon Coordinator and many years at Hair Benders of Chattanooga. He was a very sociable person. He loved his work and especially all the friends he met. Robert never met a stranger. He always loved a good bargain and loved to shop. He also was a fantastic chef, interior decorator and loved gardening. Robert loved the holidays and did some awesome designs around his home. He was predeceased by his mother, Laura M. Golden Benjamin. Surviving family members include father, James (Melinda) Benjamin, of Chattanooga; siblings and spouses, Kimberly (Gary) Beck, of Chattanooga; Julie Bearden, of Hixson; Phillip Benjamin, of Whitwell; James (Starla) Benjamin, of Chattanooga; life-long friend, Verlon Pope, of Ooltewah; several nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts that loved him dearly. The Rev. Gary T. Beck will conduct a Celebration of Life Thursday, July 12, at 3 p.m. in Brainerd Hills Church of God.
