Jarett Shiflett

FACKLER — Mr. Jarett (L.J.) Shiflett, 74, passed away on Monday July 23, 2018. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Old Sardis Free Holiness Church at 2 p.m. with Bro. Joel Shiflett and Bro. Oron Whitley officiating. The body will lie-in-state from noon to 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery in Pisgah. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Scottsboro Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. Mr. Shiflett is survived by his wife, Julie Shiflett; daughter, Pennie Shiflett; sons, Jason Shiflett, Justin (Jill) Shiflett, Joel (Kristine) Shiflett, Samuel Shiflett; grandchildren, Tiffany Trimm, Maylee Brown, T.J. Shiflett, Jackson Melton, Jenson Melton, Jamison Melton, Daniel Payne, Jake Shiflett, Bristol Shiflett, Bryer Shiflett; great-grandchild, Eli Trimm; brothers, Tony (Arnell) Shiflett and AL (Charlotte) Shiflett; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Burl and Ruby Shiflett.
