FORT OGLETHORPE — Steve Sharp, 63, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at his home. He was a resident of the North Georgia area for the past 32 years and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Patricia Sharp; mother, Bertha Sharp, Fort Oglethorpe; son, Grady (Janie) Hix, Troy, OH; grandchildren, Grady Hix Jr. and Rachel Hix, Troy, OH; along with friends, Bill, Jim and Bob, all of Charlotte, N.C.; and his Chihuahua, Tiny. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South. Visit www.heritagebattlefield.com to share condolences with the family.
