Scott Rogers

Ronald “Scott” Rogers, 54, of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., peacefully passed on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018. He was a kind and hard working man. Scott loved fishing, watching Nascar, and cherished the time spent with family and friends. Scott graduated from Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe in 1982. He was a faithful employee to Jasper Engines and Transmissions for 34 years. Scott enjoyed spending time with customers each day. He won numerous awards throughout his career. He is survived by his wife, Belinda and daughter, Regan (Cory) Canada and son, Lucas Rogers; parents, Ronnie and Joy Rogers, of Ponce Inlet, Fla.; sister, Rhonda Rogers, of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by, grandparents Paul and Juanita Rogers, of Rossville, Ga., and Harris and Joyce Wallace, of Chattanooga, Tenn. The family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 2, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy Daisy, TN 37379. The memorial service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. following visitation. Services will be officiated by Pastor David Bramble. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org and Hearth Hospice at www.hearthhospice.com.
