Amos Lawson

TRENTON — Amos Newton Lawson, 80 passed away, Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018. He was a heavy equipment operator for over 55 years and member of Church of Christ Saint Elmo, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Bell Lawson. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Sara Lawson; daughters, Terrie (Robert) Higdon, Rising Fawn, Ga.; sons, Dewayne (Kim) Lawson, Trenton, Ga., and Jeffery (Rhonda) Lawson, Chattanooga, Tenn.; sister, Dorothy (Billy) Higdon, Higdon, Ala.; brother, Clifford Lawson, Trenton, Ga.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. EST Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother C. G. Griffith officiating. Interment will be held in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
