Fred Fischer

THE VILLAGES, Fla. — Fred E. Fischer, 88, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018. Mr. Fischer was born in Washington, DC where he lived until moving to District Hgts, Md. Working for Philips CEC, he was transferred to Atlanta, Ga., then Chattanooga, Tenn. Later he was promoted back to Atlanta, Ga., as Division General Manager. Mr. Fischer was a member of the East Brainerd Methodist Church, past Master of East Ridge Masonic Lodge and the Alhambra Shrine Bus Unit. He was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, Lexi. Survivors include his wife, Karen T. Fischer; three daughters; a stepson; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Fischer will be interred at a later date.
