Kathleen Guidry

TRENTON — Kathleen Theresa Newbert Guidry, 75, passed away Monday April 15, 2019. A resident of the North Georgia area for the past 20 years, she was formerly of Thousand Oaks, Calif. She was a former employee of Erlanger Medical Center where she worked for 18 years as a Registered Nurse and was of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Guidry; parents, Edmund G. and Mabel Teetz Newbert; and brothers, Edmund Newbert, Robert Newbert and Joseph Newbert. She is survived by two children, Margaret Huskey, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and William “Billy” Bain IV (Cammie), of Trenton, Ga.; three step-children, Nicole Guidry, Shaughn Guidry and Benny Reeve; sister, Deborah Gerike of Los Gatos, Calif.; brother, Raymond Newbert of Prescott, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Joseph Bain, Faith Stevens, Joshua Bain, Autumn Phares and Seth Disheroon; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2019, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Father James Vick officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Wounded Warrior project. Arrangements are by Wilson funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Georgia.
