Mabel Harmon
Mabel Harmon, 95, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2019, in a local health care facility.
Mabel was born in Rockwood, Tenn., but spent most of her life in the Chattanooga
area. She was of the Baptist faith and was a longtime member of Edgewood Baptist Church where she was a very active member of her women’s Sunday
school class. Mabel enjoyed her flowers, drinking coffee on her porch, and cooking for her family. She also enjoyed volunteering her time with the Red Cross and the voting polls.
Mabel was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Warren Harmon, Sr.; parents, Walter and Carrie Watson; one brother, three sisters, and two
grandchildren.
Survivors include her children: Sandra (Jerry) Zimmerman, Warren (Anne)
Harmon, Jr., Linda Trivett, Clyde (Pat) Harmon, Shelia (Garry) Grant; and several
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and
nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of NHC Chattanooga
and Hospice of Chattanooga for their loving care.

Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Dr. Dale Kidd officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
Grandsons and great grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
